International importance:
It is included in the Red List of Lithuania.

Description:
Top of a bug (16-24 mm) dark and bronze or black-green, sometimes copper-green or blue, side edges of a perednespinka and wing sheaths usually brighter. Coloring always with metal outflow.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
West palaearctic mesophilic look. In Belarus meets in the southern areas more often.

Habitats:
Deciduous woods (oak groves and chernoolshanik).

Biology:
The view with spring and summer type of reproduction, winters an imago. The greatest activity is noted in May. The larva fades 2 times, lives about 24 days, at the end of summer pupates, and in 8-10 days there are adult bugs who remain in the soil till next spring. Eats, mainly, caterpillars of geometrids, an unpaired silkworm, the browntail.

Number and tendency of its change:
The look is dated for the threatened biocenoses. In standard habitats (inundated oak groves) it is sometimes usual.

Major factors of threat:
Reduction of standard habitats.

Protection measures:
The look is included in the 2nd edition of the Red List of Republic of Belarus (the II category). Identification of new habitats of a look and their protection.
