International importance:
In the Red List of Belarus it is included for the first time. It is protected in Lithuania.

Description:
Fruit bodies long-term, sedentary, kopytoobrazny, from 3-5 to 9 cm, single, are more rare in small congestions. The hat surface concentric furrowed, brownish-pink, blackens with age. The edge is wavy, fabric pith and ligneous, wine-pink color. The surface of a gimenofor of pink color, when drying becomes more dim. Hyphas with buckles. Basidiums are club-shaped, 4-sporous. Disputes are cylindrical, hyaline, pressed on the one hand, not amyloid, 6-7 2-3 microns in size.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Europe, North America. The look is widespread in a boreal zone. In Belarus it is found in Brest (Pruzhansky district), Vitebsk (Tolochinsky district), Gomel (Zhitkovichsky district) and Mogilev (Osipovichsky district) areas.

Habitats:
Meets in old shady fir groves. Grows on sukhostoyny and valezhny trunks and stubs of mainly coniferous breeds (a pine, a fir-tree), by way of exception - on a poplar. Is the indicator of the old-age woods.

Biology:
Sporoobrazovaniye time July - September. Causes brown decay. The mushroom has a decorative fruit body.

Number and tendency of its change:
Single copies meet. In all locations the number of a look is small.

Major factors of threat:
Low number and density of populations, collecting fruit bodies, all views of cabins of the wood, economic transformation of lands.

Protection measures:
Grows in territories of national parks "Bialowieza Forest" and "Pripyat". Periodic control of a condition of the known populations and search new, creation in places of growth of specialized wildlife areas with prohibition of anthropogenous influences are necessary.
