International importance:
It is included in the Red List of Belarus of the 2nd edition (1993). It is protected in Poland and Lithuania.

Description:
Fruit bodies one-year, semicircular, 5-8 3-10 cm in size. A surface of hats poorly zone, trimmed, cinnabaric-orange. Gimenofor surface shafranno-red, time roundish or angular. Gifalny system trimitichesky, hyphas with buckles. Disputes are elongated and ellipsoidal, hyaline, not amyloid, 4,5-6,5 2-2,5 microns.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Cosmopolitan. In the territory of the republic meets in Brest (Pruzhansky district), Vitebsk (Tolochinsky district) and Minsk (Logoysky and Stolbtsovsky districts) areas.

Habitats:
Grows in the deciduous and mixed woods on dead wood - trunks, stubs, branches of deciduous breeds, a thicket on a birch, a poplar, a mountain ash, in well lit places, on cuttings down or places of wildfires.

Biology:
Causes peripheral white decay, sometimes with an orange shade, not getting deeply into wood. Fruit bodies appear in April - September. Decorative and medicinal look.

Number and tendency of its change:
Usually meets small groups or single copies. In all locations the number of a look is small and subject to year fluctuations.

Major factors of threat:
Violation of places of dwellings by anthropogenous factors (all views of cabins of the wood, economic transformation of lands), collecting fruit bodies.

Protection measures:
Grows in the territory of National park "Bialowieza Forest". The organization of the protected natural territories in other places of growth with prohibition of anthropogenous influences, explanatory work among the population is necessary.
