Beet vegetable oil and herring salad

Way of preparation

1 l of small polished beet, 1 glass of vegetable oil, 2 bulbs, pepper, 2 — 3 herrings, sugar, lemon acid, salt, 1 hard-boiled egg, greens.

Herring to cut, skin, take out bones and 2 hours to soak in solution of lemon acid. Then to slice. To put the cut herring, the stewed small chopped onions, pepper in vegetable oil, salt, sugar, lemon acid in beet weight, to mix everything.

To lay out salad in a salad bowl, having decorated with greens and the cut cucumbers, and also the hard-boiled egg.

Instead of lemon acid it is possible to put largely polished antonovka in salad. Each hostess prepares a dish to the taste.
