International importance:
It is for the first time included in the Red List of Belarus. It is protected in Poland and Lithuania.

Description:
Sloyevishche 8-20 cm long, borodovidny, hanging, soft, yellowish, grayish or pale greenish, dense, patches are more rare poorly branched, usually without a certain body of an attachment, occasionally at the basis of branches blackened, with psevdogomfy in a look. Blades 0,8-2 mm wide, in places of branchings up to 3-5 mm wide, radial and angular, occasionally flattened, sometimes to almost tape-like, identical on a structure and coloring from the top and lower parties, on a surface lakunozno-yamchaty, on all length annularly cracked with the whitish core seen in cracks, simpodialno, dichotomizing, sometimes vaguely branched from the basis or only in top part, with the small shipovidny shoots 2-5 mm long scattered on all length.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Europe, Southern Asia, North and South America, Greenland. In the territory of Belarus it is known in Brest (Pruzhansky and Stolinsky districts), Vitebsk (Verkhnedvinsky and Rossonsky districts), Gomel (the Lelchitsky district), Minsk (Myadelsky district) and Mogilev (Osipovichsky district) areas.

Habitats:
Mainly old-age fir forests (in the Vitebsk and Minsk Region), more rare mixed (in the Grodno and Brest Region) where the look usually meets on branches of a fir-tree ordinary.

Biology:
Breeds vegetativno (sorediya or fragmentation of a sloyevishch).

Number and tendency of its change:
Meets single individuals, is more rare groups. In the Mogilev Region, apparently, disappeared.

Major factors of threat:
Anthropogenous: all views of cabins of the wood, drying melioration, economic transformation of lands, wildfires.

Protection measures:
"Bialowieza Forest", "Narochansky" (in the reserved territory of Blue lakes) and "Pripyat" grows in national parks. Periodic control of a condition of the known populations and the organization of purposeful search of new locations of a look in similar conditions are necessary, the organization of protection of the places of growth which are outside nature protection territories a ban of any silvicultural activity and will lock carrying out drying and meliorative works near its localities, the prevention of wildfires.
