International importance:
It is included in the 2nd edition of the Red List of Belarus (1993). It is protected in Poland.

Description:
Sloyevishche granular, tuberous or scaly, whitish-gray or olive-brown. Podsloyevishche whitish. Apotetion 0,5-1,5 mm high, on legs (height of 0,3-1 mm, 0,1-0,3 mm thick) with a greenish raid. Heads apotetsiyev voronko-or linzovidny, sharply delimited from a leg. The disk at first is covered with a dense flavovirent or golden-yellow raid, later naked, convex, with a diameter of 0,3-0,9 mm.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Europe (Poland, Karelia, Baltic, Ukraine and Russia), Asia (Japan), North America, Australia. In Belarus it is known in Brest (Pruzhansky district), Grodno (Svislochsky district) and Gomel (Zhitkovichsky district) areas.

Habitats:
Meets on oak trunk bark in the old-age broad-leaved woods and inundated oak groves the increased humidity of air, and also on rotten pine stubs in the boggy pine woods.

Biology:
Breeds askospor.

Number and tendency of its change:
Grows at small groups, forms a continuous cover less often.

Major factors of threat:
Cabins of the wood of the main use, economic transformation of lands, drying melioration, recreational loadings, wildfires.

Protection measures:
Grows in territories of national parks "Bialowieza Forest" and "Pripyat". Periodic control of a condition of the known populations and the organization of purposeful search of new places of growth of a look in similar conditions, preservation of the habitats meeting the requirements of a look, a ban of any silvicultural activity in places of growth and a ban of drying and meliorative actions near its localities are necessary.
