By 15 o'clock the commander of the 22nd tank division general Puganov informed that all forces which he has concentrated in 8 km to the southwest of Zhabinki.

By this moment the 22nd tank division had about 100 tanks with very small stock of shells and fuel. During the whole night on June 22 in the 22nd TD the divisions which lagged behind or disseminated at derogation from border gathered and put in order.

In the morning on June 23, 1941 the 22nd tank division under blows 2nd tank, one motorized and several infantry divisions of the 12th army case of Germans slowly receded from Zhabinka to Kobrin. About 10 o'clock in the afternoon they managed to detain Hitlerites at TEVLI boundary – ANDRONOVO – PATRIKI. The enemy approached the village the Name-day.

Fight ran high all again and again, becoming more and more hardened. The German tanks an avalanche directed towards the Name-day. Possessing a powerful 75-mm gun, Hitlerite T-4 tanks from distance more than 1 km turned easy Soviet petrol BT-7 tanks in a torch. Here one of "Tigers", having stopped from a big distance, shoots coolly Puganov's tanks. The Soviet tankmen at great speed try to approach the opponent that it was possible to strike the enemy closer. But the opponent tries not to admit close Soviet tanks. The bullet-proof armor is not capable to protect crews of the Soviet tankmen. And after each hit of a shell the Soviet tank turned into a heap of "fragmentary" metal which was filled with a flame because of the spread gasoline. Crews of tanks did not manage to escape practically, from explosion all perished at once. If who was lucky, then without being the killed shell splinter, the Soviet tankman was burned with what it was plentifully poured by gasoline from the punched gasoline tank over. Over the Soviet tanks the German aircraft continuously hung, and everything bombed the 22nd division. The Soviet aircraft was not as in the first days of war the majority was destroyed directly in airfields by the German bombs. 6 hours the hardened fight on approaches to the Name-day continued. Till 16 o'clock the opponent could not break to the Name-day that then from the northwest to strike blow to Kobrin.
