Initiators of creation of group are Nikolay Shish and Philip Poplavsky who went to the wood for the 5th day after occupation of the area. Gerasimov Mikhail joined them (a lump. crews in Pinsk connection). Growth of group began in February, 1942. The group in Grushevsky to the wood was based. The initial structure of group as fighting unit was following.

The commander of group ordered group. In 1943 numbering 113 people there was a commander of group, the chief of a staff and two commanders of a platoon and in November group was broken into 2 companies, a platoon and office.

At movement of group investigation observed the opponent, rear and lateral protection was exposed. The first military operations of group began in April, 1942 under Detkovichi. At the time of military operations the group totaled 70 people, fight lasted no more than an hour, the opponent who is in number surpassing was dispersed.

After this fight the group was divided into 2 groups — one in number of 65 people with Shish Nikolay left on the East, another — 5 people with Poplavsky — remained in the area. From this point again growth of group in group began.

Since July, 1943 military operations of group began. There took place fights repeatedly in of Grushevo, under Derevna, Zelovo, on the Brest-Moscow highway, etc.

2 hours kept fight in of Novoselki. Germans were expelled from the village, but could not keep the village since the opponent received a reinforcement and guerrillas were forced to recede. The enemy burned the village, captured 40 people of inhabitants. In fight under Derevnaya broke 5 cars, killed 30 Germans, there were many wounded.

FIGHTING ACTIVITY OF GROUP

Generally the group was used at diversionary works and ambushes. The group made a raid on garrison of the opponent in Detkovichakh and Antopole. INTERACTION OF GROUP WITH RED ARMY

On July 12, 1944 at a meeting with Red Army investigation group of guerrillas (71 persons) under a komandovaniyemkomissar of group Reva Gr. conducted a battle under. Old Sand. The opponent was beaten out from three lines of entrenchments in the wood, bodies did not appear in time yet.

The group was created on April 26, 1943 near of Sventits of Gantsevichsky district of the Pinsky region on the basis of the 55th group which is before a part of group of Shchors acting in the Brest and Pinsky regions.

By the beginning of creation of group to them. Kotovsk there were 23 persons. The commander appointed Lyapichev Frol Korneevich, but for insolvency of the management of group of 12.6.1943 g from a position of the commander of group by the Authorized Central Committee of KP(b)B of t. By Sergey it was removed.

Leshchev Alexander Vasilyevich, 12.6.1943 g after Lyapichev F.K. removal is appointed the commander of group. from a dolzhnostikomandir of group... 28.7.1943 Morozov Andrey Ilyich is appointed the commissioner of group. Head of a staff Homenko.

On April 2, 1944 the 3rd company as a part of 3 platoons is created. Thus, to 3.4.1944 g guerrilla group to them. Kotovsk Brest connection consisted of 3 companies on 3 platoons in everyone, on three offices in each platoon and a platoon of investigation of group.

Management of group and separate fighting groups both in fight, and on marches was carried out through coherent. The group armed at the expense of the weapon got at the population and the taken trophies at the opponent. Besides, from 15.9.1943 g were partially supplied with the weapon, ammunition and explosive the Brest connection. In January, 1944 connection with the front then the group was completely armed and provided with ammunition and explosive materials was established.

During fighting activity a number of acts of sabotage is made in the cities and settlements, such as: 21.08.1943 the printing house in to Kobrina on Brestskaya Street where the German and nationalist propaganda literature was published is burned. A lot of such literature was withdrawn by group in Habovichi, Rukhovichi.

16.10.1943 in the same city through secret-service communication the bakery where 15 were killed and wounded was blown up by a mine
Germans (including 1 officer).

24.10.1943 in the same place the building of a police station where 6 German officers, 6 politsiant were killed is blown up by a mine,

In group there was a Communist Party organization (12 members and 8 candidates of school desks.) and Komsomol, numbering 68 Komsomol members. Were among the best Komsomol members: Karpov Vasily, Pigeons Vladimir, Denisyuk Zakhar.

There are some examples:

29.3.1944 by order of force staff the group in full strength engaged at 15:00 defense on West side of Belozersky Canal in the area to the north of and to the south of of Guravitsa. The same day the opponent it was busy with Svoryn.
