The HONEYSUCKLE is ordinary

The honeysuckle is the evergreen or listopadny branchy curling bush with rather large flowers, with simple integral leaves, large flowers are collected in golovchaty inflorescences which height can reach two and a half meters. The floral cup in relation to the center asymmetric, five-gear, has pinkish, yellow, blue or white coloring. In the nature this plant meets in northern, east, and also central part of Europe and in the Urals.



Leaves of a honeysuckle have the elliptic form with a sharp tip. Length of leaves can reach 5-7 centimeters, and width – 3-5 centimeters. Approximately at the beginning of summer it is possible to observe yellow-white blossoming of a honeysuckle. At the same time flowers settle down in pairs in bosoms of leaves. Already by the end of July a honeysuckle ordinary to bear red fruits of spherical shape which are unsuitable for the use in food. At some types of a honeysuckle of berry can be yellow or black color.

The honeysuckle ordinary is very hardy plant. This plant can grow not only in forest conditions, but also in the city. The bush well develops both on the sun, and in shadows. Easily transfers frosty winter conditions. Also the honeysuckle ordinary is steady against various wreckers and diseases. Best of all the bush grows and develops on the fertile soils enriched with lime. The honeysuckle seeds or shanks breeds.

Thanks to unpretentiousness in cultivation and leaving the honeysuckle ordinary is widely used in gardening as a green hedge as easily transfers a hairstyle. The bush can be used not only as an ornamental plant, but also to use its wood for production of small wooden hand-made articles. Flowers of a honeysuckle are very valuable melliferous herb.
