Public institution of education "Kobrin regional social and pedagogical center"
Kobrin regional SPTs is open by the decision of Kobrin district executive committee of 16.10.2007 for No. 1324.
Is the establishment of education which is carrying out the social and pedagogical, psychology and pedagogical, social and psychological, social and legal, correctional and rehabilitation help to children and parents (to persons, them replacing) who have a need for such help.

On August 19, 2011 the decision of Kobrin executive committee No. 1104 created public institution of education "Kobrin regional social and pedagogical center" which was reorganized by merge of public institution of education "the Kobrin regional social and pedagogical center" and "A children's social shelter of Kobrin district".

Object of activity of the social and pedagogical center is rendering of services on the social help and rehabilitation to minor and their families.

Main objectives of activity of the social and pedagogical center are: ensuring social adaptation, rendering social and pedagogical, psychological and other assistance to the children who appeared in extreme life situations, to their parents, adoptive parents, trustees, trustees in elimination of a difficult life situation, recovery of the social status of minors in groups of peers at the place of residence, studies, assistance to return of minors to families.

The social and pedagogical center incorporates the following structural divisions:
- office of diagnostics of social disadaptation;
- office of implementation of programs of social rehabilitation;
- information and legal service;
- children's shelter.
Kobrin regional SPTs is legal entity. A founder of institution is the Kobrin district executive committee.
State body, the authorized owner to operate property of establishment the department of education of Kobrin district executive committee is.

Establishment has the press with the image of the State Emblem of Republic of Belarus and a stamp with the name, current (settlement) and other accounts in banks of Republic of Belarus.

In the activity the center is guided:
The code of Republic of Belarus about education,
Provision on social and pedagogical establishment,
other existing acts of Republic of Belarus,
normative documents of the Ministry of Education of Republic of Belarus, Charter,
orders of the founder and director of institution within their competences and powers.
Direct management of establishment is performed by his director.

The office of diagnostics of social disadaptation carries out psychology and pedagogical inspection of minors, defines forms and content of the social and pedagogical help to minors, term of their rehabilitation in establishment, will organize consultation of minors and their parents.

The office of implementation of programs of social rehabilitation intends for the organization of stage-by-stage implementation of individual programs of social rehabilitation of the minors providing restoration of the lost contacts with a family.

The information and legal service keeps account of the children who are in socially dangerous situation, the children recognized as persons in need in the state protection carries out protection of the rights and legitimate interests of minors, parents and other lawful representatives concerning realization of the rights of minors, renders assistance to agencies of guardianship and guardianship in the device of minors in families on education, the organizations of psychology and pedagogical, legal preparation of families for reception on education of orphan children, in supervision over adaptation of minors in the families which accepted them on education.

The children's shelter is located at the address: 225807, Brest region, Kobrin district, of Borisovk, Shkolnaya Street, 1.
The children's shelter is intended for temporary residence (no more than 6 months within calendar year) and social rehabilitation of children aged from 3 till 18 years in number of 16 people. The children's shelter accepts the minors which are needing the state protection, appeared in a difficult life situation the orphan children, children without parental support, adoptive parents, trustees who got lost or thrown, not having permanent residence and provides them the state providing before return them in families or definitions together with agencies of guardianship and guardianship of forms of a living arrangement of minors.

The basis for the room of minors in a children's shelter is:
- personal address of the minor;
- direction of sector of child care;
- the statement of parents, adoptive parents, trustees or minor's trustees taking into account opinion of the minor;
- the resolution of court, the resolution of bodies of inquiry, the investigator, prosecutor in cases of detention, detention or condemnation of parents, adoptive parents, trustees or minor's trustees;
- the act of the operations duty officer of department of internal affairs of need of the room of the minor in a shelter.
Training of the minors which are contained in a children's shelter will be organized according to the Code of Republic of Belarus about education.

The minors which are contained in a children's shelter are trained in state establishments of education "the Osovsky children's garden - high school".
