On December 17, 2013 in Palace of culture at the initiative of Kobrin club of business women "Bond" under the chairmanship of Alla Sapezhinskaya the round table on the subject "Regional History — the Tool for Successful Development of Objects of Agrotourism" took place.

The question of influence of regional history on successful development of objects of agroecotourism was discussed by representatives of the Belarusian women's league, association of free historians, owners of agroestates of Kobrin district and experts from the sphere of rendering tourist services. The need for involvement of historians to development of the program of involvement of tourists to Kobrin district became the reason which induced organizers to carrying out a round table. The meeting was opened by the chairman of OO "Belarusian Women's League", the candidate of historical sciences Nina Stuzhinskaya (Minsk). The small digression to history which is carried out by the expert convinced the audience that even the remote settlement can become a magnet for tourists if to find and competently to present it to sight.

Then conversation on heroes, myths, romantic stories of the Kobrin earth was continued by historians. Also various forms of use of historical heritage were offered: competitions, excursions, reconstruction, historical readings, festivals and holidays in estates. Representatives of agroestates shared the ideas on the organization of leisure of tourists through familiarizing with folklore traditions and the historical past. The owner of the agroestate "River" (Zhabinkovsky district) Gennady Turitsyn gave the program according to which visitors of the agroestate can get acquainted with area history as an example of such activity, having visited the museum "Rural Hut" in Zaluzye, in the estate and Tadeush Kosciusko's museum on the Krupchitsky field - the place of fight of insurgents under the leadership of Tadeush Kosciusko with Suvorov's troops, Sacred and Nikitsky church - a monument of wooden architecture of the 15th century.

Historians Galina Ivanyuk-Lozovskaya, Natalya Rogachuk and Irina Simonova told about such a little studied page of history of Kobrin district as history of the Jewish ghetto. The audience was interested also destiny of a five hundred-summer oak by the name of Devaytis who grows in the village of Grushevo where till 1939 the Polish writer Maria Rodzevich lived. And though creative life of the writer is connected with Grushevsky a manor, her literary heritage is almost unknown for kobrinchan. Works of the hostess Devaytis are transferred to many languages, and here Russian-and belorusskoyazychny translations of stories about "forest people" - kobrinchana are absent. However there is a hope that today there will be those who will be able to turn the territory of the former manor into a tourist mecca or to make the Polish literary masterpieces available to the Russian-speaking reader.

Historians stated also the fears for destiny of ancient Catholic and Jewish burials and complained about desolation which is destructive affects the building of a synagogue on Pervomayskaya St. Also wishes to designate memorial plates of the building and room, connected with considerable events from life of the Belarusian underground, and also to collect information on outstanding personalities whose are cast in the lot with Kobrin were stated. Among ignored kobrinchan the name of the American mathematician Oscar Zarissky whom Wikipedia characterizes as "one of the most known algebraic geometr of the 20th century" sounded.

In conclusion of action the site administrator Victor Logvinovich presented to the audience the unique electronic product - virtual 3D - the tour across the city giving qualitative visual information on any district of the city. The initiators who gathered at a round table convincingly proved that our city can be interesting to travelers of different age, interests, nationalities and religions. It is necessary to present only professionally known and to open new sights.
