Articles about Kobrin: With love to traditions

Travel to the past

The results of the first regional review competition "The best agroestate-2009" are summed up. The agroecotourism is a serious segment of travel business on the Brest region. On popular estates not only the citizens tired of vanity of the stone jungle, but also foreigners for whom visit of the Belarusian remote place is an opportunity to enter "the river of time", to touch what in many European countries is already irrevocably lost come to have a rest. And it is important to make so that foreign guests wanted to come to the Brest region more and more, to bring with itself friends and relatives and, of course, so currency necessary for our economy.

To be delayed in a rural way

As the head of department of physical culture, sport and tourism of the Brest regional executive committee Nikolay Hevuk noted, the last year was celebrated by the avalanche growth of agroestates in the area. But, having pursued quantity, "lodges in the village" lag behind in the majority on quality so far. Meanwhile from Minsk lead up all new and new quantitative indices. But whether the number of tourists will increase from it? Sometimes empty rural houses where nobody lives, for the report register as the agroestate. Meanwhile on the map of the area of enough strong untwisted agroestates which enjoy enviable popularity. Among them the best were also chosen. Republican and regional competitions of the nomination "Preservation of the Belarusian Traditions" were won by Nina Glovatskaya's agroestate "The Polesia traditions" (Kobrin district). In a regional competition in the nomination "Style and Harmony" there was no equal to Zoya Nelipovich's economy "Kalinka " (The Brest district), and in the nomination "Hospitality" of the best Alla Polikarpuk's agroestate "On Zarechnaya Street" was (Kobrin district).

Width is necessary

Summing up the competition results, the audience discussed the main problems of agroestates. The training seminars and trainings, scientific and practical conferences, festivals, competitions and exchange of experience have to become the main priority of development of ecotourism that is especially actual for the developing farms. And successful estates as air require expansion, in particular, increase in berths to accept big groups and even the whole buses of tourists. Let's note that those who have a rest on the best agroestates of Kobrin district are carried both in an aquapark, and to the Ice arena, and on an ostrich's farm and even in Bialowieza Forest. Estates cooperate with travel agencies and sanatoria, but, according to hostesses of "lodges in the village", it would be desirable much more active interaction with these organizations. One more problem — registration of foreigners. It is necessary to go with them to the District Department of Internal Affairs, to make out a heap of papers which duplicate each other, to waste a lot of time which foreign tourists very much value. Especially as at home they got used to process all documents on the Internet, spending for all formalities literally only a few minutes.

The Belarusian extreme with the European luster

Certainly, foreigners of the Belarusian remote place, delighted with color. But nevertheless the minimum set of household services and service for which, by the way, they are ready to pay considerable money is necessary for them at least. To estates there come guests from England, Holland, Poland, India, China and other countries. According to Zoya Nelipovich, tourists from the Asian countries literally thaw from the kind attitude towards them from Belarusians and feel as houses. And here Dutches call trips to the Brest region an extreme tourism - they bring here the maturing children that those saw what hard work gets the civilization benefits. It affects offsprings smoothly — they come back to Earth and begin to make realistic plans for adulthood. And one tourist from the Country of tulips cured a depression which captured it after divorce in the Belarusian estate. Europeans as if come back to the past, they are covered literally by children's delight when they observe how roll up cucumbers in banks, cook jam. At them who got used to semi-finished products, the head is turned just from a smell of the Belarusian potato. In other words, at tourist industry on the Brest region the huge potential, the main thing to find the niche in this market and to approach business with all gravity.
