Mass grave of Red Army men

The mass grave of Red Army men is on the northern suburb of the village Polyatichi. More than 100 Red Army men who were killed in battle with the Polish interventionists in 1920 are buried.

The small group of Red Army men decided to destroy the armored train which covered retreat of the Polish troops. Fighters were armed with rifles and had a limited stock of cartridges. In attempt to blow up the railway bridge near Polyatichi battle in which Red Army men were killed was started. When Western Belarus was under the power of bourgeois Poland, about a grave of Red Army men the youth of neighboring villages arranged meetings in days of revolutionary holidays.

In 1965 on a grave the obelisk, in 1985 - a stele is established.
