Konstantin Paustovsky. Memoirs and meetings

Documentary / the USSR, 1982
The movie about life and works of the famous writer. His father "was an incorrigible dreamer and the Protestant"...

Perhaps therefore the son Konstantin Paustovsky wrote subsequently: "The desire of unusual pursued me since the childhood. My state could be determined by two words: admiration before the imagined world and — melancholy because of impossibility to see it". It is melancholy, probably proceeded long enough as world recognition to the writer came much later, in the mid-fifties. Then Paustovsky had an opportunity to travel around Europe. Impressions of these trips formed the basis of his stories and traveling sketches of the 1950-1960th years.
