Series Queen of Bond / Królowa Bona

The series tell about life of the Polish queen Bona Sfortsa Aragonscaya living in the 16th century. Bona belonged to a noble Italian family, was a daughter of the duke Milan. Since the childhood big-time politics and palace intrigues were habitual to it. Perfectly educated, knowing Spanish and classical Latin, Bona brought into admiration even of professors from the Krakow academy. The queen it became in 1518, having married the king of Poland Sigismund Stary who quickly got under its influence. The attitude of people around towards Bona was very inconsistent - at the queen were both aficionados, and irreconcilable enemies. The first admired her wisdom, insight and political foresight, the second considered it haughty and ambitious. Bona is shown in series as the firm and reasonable ruler who, unfortunately, could not achieve a goal.
