Liberty Square is in the former historic center of the city. Approximately in this place the Market square with malls settled down earlier. The majority of buildings belong by 18-19 to centuries. Through the area pass Suvorov Street, Lenin, May Day. Nearby there is an embankment, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a monument to the Russian soldiers, the building of the former bank, the Spassky monastery.
