International importance:
It is for the first time included in the Red List of Belarus. It is protected in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

Description:
Sloyevishche krupnolopastny, an uncertain form, to 20 cm in the diameter (blades 5-25 mm wide), on the periphery folded and wrinkled, with the rising roundish ends. The top surface grayish, grayish-greenish, opaque or slightly brilliant, smooth, with the scattered white specks - psevdotsifella; lower - in the center black, on the periphery chestnut and slightly brilliant, with the dark, collected in rare groups rubbers passing closer to edge into borodavochka at the periphery with a naked zone about 2 mm wide. Sorediya the regional, bordering in the form of the thick white line edges of blades.

Rasprostraniyeniye:
Europe, Asia, South Africa, America, Australia. In Belarus: Brest Region (Kamenetsky, Maloritsky, Pruzhansky, Stolinsky districts), Vitebsk Region (Gorodoksky, Polotsk, Rossonsky, Tolochinsky, Lepelsky districts), Gomel Region. (Gomel, Zhitkovichsky, Mazyr, Lelchitsky districts), Grodno Region (Svislochsky and Novogrudsky districts), Minsk Region. (Minsk, Myadelsky, Logoysky districts) and Mogilev Region (Osipovichsky district).

Habitats:
Grows in transitional strips of a fir grove bilberry in a chernoolshanik kislichny, is more rare on edges of fir groves (kislichny and bilberry types) and in chernoolshanik (kasatikovy, sedge, is more rare than krapivny), it is known also on a willow at the road. Grows mainly on bark of an oak rocky, an oak chereshchaty, a maple lozhnoplatanovy, a hornbeam ordinary, an alder black, etc.

Biology:
Breeds vegetativno sorediya.

Number and tendency of its change:
Usually grows at separate individuals, in reserved territories small groups. More than 2/3 known habitats are in Domzheritsky, Kamenetsky, Pruzhansky and Svislochsky districts. The tendency to reduction of number connected with anthropogenous violations is noted.

Major factors of threat:
Anthropogenous: all views of cabins of the wood, drying melioration, economic transformation of lands, wildfires.

Protection measures:
Grows in territories of national parks "Bialowieza Forest" and "Pripyat", the Berezinsky biospheric reserve and a number of wildlife areas ("Svityazyansky", "Prilepsky", etc.). Periodic control of a condition of the known populations and the organization of purposeful search of new locations of a look in similar conditions, protection of the places of growth which are outside nature protection territories and a ban of any silvicultural activity are necessary.
