In 1941-1944 in the ranks of guerrillas of the Brest region the German anti-fascists also struggled with Hitlerites.

Hayk Vinkler served in garrison on the Bronny mountain. On his eyes there was a brutal mass destruction of the population of the Brest region. And he came to a conclusion that he will not serve any more fascism against which only the Soviet Union will be able to win. On the eve of the 26th anniversary of October revolution it with automatic machine and a manual machine gun was in group of Dimitrov of the Brest connection. The commander of group told Vinkler that he trusts it and gives the chance to fight up in arms against fascism. Vinkler started going with guerrillas to diversions, was in investigation, participated in fights with chasteners. Cheerful on character, resourceful Hayk was fallen in love by guerrillas, called it in Russian - Sashkoy. Sergey Rutich in the book "Forever Young" devoted to Hayk Vinkler, his arrival to group a whole chapter.

The native of a working family Heinrich Rifer appeared in Kobrin district as a part of occupational army in 1942. Served in protection of the railroad at station a Natter. Komsomol members Gennady and Dmitry Dudko from crew of Chapayev involved him in cooperation with guerrillas. In the beginning at it exchanged batteries to radio receivers for products, medicines, salt. Then he began to come to the agreed place in the wood, to transfer ammunition, data on the movement of military structures. On the instructions of group Heinrich Rifer organized trains wreck at station a Natter. Having noticed for itself shadowing, at the end of June, 1944 Rifer went to guerrilla group. After liberation of the Brest region it remained to live and work in Kobrin. Married the Belarusian woman. They gave birth to the daughter Valentina who lives in Grodno now. Heinrich Rifer in 1979 died and it is buried in Kobrin.

The participant of the Kobrin anti-fascist underground Ekaterina Lisovskaya, well knowing German, established connection with the soldier from an air unit Max Abents whose father died during revolution in Germany in 1918. To Max suggested to help local anti-fascists with elimination of the chief of SD Bichman guilty of death of many kobrinchan.

On New Year's Eve 1944 Max Abents, being as a part of military patrol, bypassed the city. Having seen that at the chief of SD the window is badly veiled, Max came into the apartment and made the remark concerning violation of a blackout. Bichman was indignant that some soldier dared to specify to him... Having used scandal, Abents killed with automatic turn Bichman for non-obedience to military patrol. The future of Max, unfortunately, is unknown. Gestapo men managed to detain Ekaterina Lisovskaya, probably, they learned about her contacts with Abents. After interrogations and tortures it was shot.

In underground printing house of the Brest regional anti-fascist committee which was in a ruzhansky dense forest, printed leaflets addresses to the German soldiers the former prisoner of war Jacob - the printer in the specialty.

These are some examples of how atrocities of fascist aggressors over civilians, their aspiration to reach world supremacy in any ways and by methods put some Germans and citizens of the Soviet Union on one side of barricades...
