IV. Events of day on May 31, 2010

Consecration of the temple in honor of Saint Ioann Kormyansky happened on May 31, in day of canonization of the Saint by the Holy Synod of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. Why orthodox Christians decided to consecrate the temple in honor of this Saint? The answer is simple. Over the last ten years not once parishioners of ours and the neighboring villages went to pilgrimage in the Stern of Dobrushsky district, to worship Saint Ioann's relics. And not once received from it a consolation and the help. Therefore decided to consecrate the temple in his honor.
